Description

  1. The The James Brand Ellis Scissors is an alternative version of the original Ellis. This stylish, multi-functional pocket knife distinguishes itself at its core. But overall stayed true to its aluminium predecessor.

A part of the sandvik 12C27-steel blade has been enhanced with serrations. With this serrated edge you can easily cut through sturdy materials. For this version the bottle opener is replaced by a small, stainless steel pair of scissors. Suited for daily tasks. The backlock was replaced by a slipjoint. This lock ensures that the blade is not completely locked when opened. As such you can legally carry this knife almost anywhere.

The handle was also updated. A deep-carry pocket clip was added to make sure you easily take the knife with you. The handle is also enhanced with a small shield. This creates that authentic feel we have grown accustomed to with classic gentleman’s knives. Like with the original the backpacker also functions as a prybar.

The James Brand: knives for people who live life to the fullest.

The people from The James Brand don’t come from the pocket knife world. They are skaters, snowboarders, fishermen, barbers, photographers. People who do not only work behind their drawing board, but go out into the world. People who do not wait for their problems to be solved, but take the initiative. They have a different view on what a pocket knife should look like all their own. Never inhibited by thoughts like “that’s just the way it is” they started designing. The result is a stylish, unique pocket knife brand. Made for adventurers and anyone who loves design. For real people.
