In 2015 Victorinox started releasing an annual ‘Limited’ Edition set of three coloured Alox models: Initially these were the Pioneer, the Cadet and Classic models.
Having previously stated that the three models would be issued every year, in 2021 Victorinox surprised many Swiss Army Knife fans and collectors by changing the model set for the annual release. They removed the Pioneer and Cadet and added the Pioneer X and Hunter Pro. In 2024 the Hunter Pro was replaced by the Evoke.
Each year’s edition comes in a different colour and they are sold in special packaging. The panel on the back scale is engraved with the year of production.
